The (RPA-)Process-Analysis-Framework© helps to analyze and prioritize possible automation candidates.

After the initial evaluation of RPA, the question regularly arises as to how to proceed. Which processes are suitable, in which areas, and how to proceed with prioritization.

In our projects, we regularly use a matrix to a) evaluate processes and their technical and business-related automation potential and b) prioritize them.

The procedure is usually similar. The basic selection of the analysis areas is made in discussions with area managers. The subsequent detailed process analysis is carried out with the process owners in workshops or expert interviews. A final prioritization is then made jointly.

The selection criteria in the tool can be modified and extended as required. They basically take into account a technical and a business-related perspective. At the end of the analysis, it is clear which process should be considered and where automation would bring the greatest benefits.

To date, the framework has helped automate >150 processes and generate millions of euros in annual process cost savings.
